Rotary Action Group on Mental Health Initiatives
Above all, we are a resource group to Rotarians on issues of mental health. The purpose of the group is to advance the Object of Rotary by providing assistance and support to Rotary, Rotaract and Interact members at all levels (individual, club, district, and multi-district) in planning and implementing large scale community development projects that will improve mental health and wellness in the community. We will work to underline the Rotary values of service, diversity, fellowship, integrity, and leadership and help all the citizens we serve in our communities to positively balance their lives and to care for those who need our help and support. We believe that the mental health initiatives in our communities can improve lives through different social, physical, economic, and behavioral programs we develop to build strong societies internationally.

International Service Projects and Activities
We offer resources for members around the world to promote in their local communities. For example, a toolkit that has been implemented in the USA, Puerto Rico, India and Nigeria - Wellness in a Box - can be facilitated by members of Interact, Rotaract, and Rotary along with community leaders. Check out the resources on this website and contact the Action Group leaders with ideas and questions:
- Pay attention to your own mental health and well-being
- Consider introducing some of the resources to your club for a service project
- Ask for ideas and help from the Action Group leaders
- Contact school leaders to learn whether mental health referral is available to connect students with mental health providers
- Volunteer time to support this Action Group and support its program
- Provide news and stories for the RAGMHI Newsletter
