RAG Addiction prevention Chapter Belgium starts a pilot for a new International project Youth Prevention Influencers. The project is inspired by the UN Youth Initiative with already 10 years of experience. Rotary clubs wil recrute young people with a drive between 12 and 24 to train them in the principles of addiction and evidence based addiction prevention. After their training YPI's are supported to develop their own prevention action in their own youth environment and local community with the financial support of the local Rotary club. The pilot will be evaluated and finalised with EU small Erasmus Project subsidies and is afterwards available for dissemination.
